Cherry Pie Kush

This phenotype of Cherry Pie Kush is the result of the crossbreeding of the genetics from OG Kush, Granddaddy Purps, and Durban Poison. A few purple leaves peek through these fluffy green nugs, packing a dense core. A blanket of trichomes engulfs these buds—so much that there will surely be some left behind on your fingers after a single pinch! Patients looking for indica-dominant relief (75/25) to overcome chronic pain and stress will enjoy the deep purple aroma with soft berry notes and a lingering sweet OG undertone, as well as the flavor of sugary sweetness paired with a diesel funk. Be prepared for a euphoric yet relaxed body effect that tucks you into bed. This strain offers a whopping 24.7 percent THC and 1.81 CBG.

Purple OG Live Resin

Behold the champ, in all its rightful glory. This concentrate won "First Place Indica Concentrate" at the 2016 Michigan High Times Cannabis Cup. The flower, which was extracted to create such impeccable medicine reins from parent strains Las Vegas Purple Kush and Ghost OG, was grown with a hydro under current. As far as the final concentrate is concerned, the terminology "live resin" means that the plant was cut down, frozen immediately and then extracted quickly thereafter. This process typically keeps more of the plant's terpenes intact, producing quite the flavorful product. An incredibly intense head and body effect reign victory over anxiety, chronic pains, insomnia and nausea, thanks to 67.4 percent THC, 51 percent CBD, 2 percent CBN, 1.7 percent CBG and 1.03 percent CBC. The overall odor and taste has a prominent sour, sharp OG funk with a hint of floral undertones. Prepare yourself for a deeply relaxed, sedative effect. Superior relief awaits:

Purple OG Wax

Opening this little container releases a tsunami of Purple OG bouquet. It fills the room with a heavy, earthy citrus purple aroma-and quick. Wonderful earwax texture, easy to work with, easy to scoop out and use-it doesn't stick to the container. This little guy is easy to grab and work with; we were able to use every teensy little piece. Very manageable. Smoking Purple OG Wax was pure pleasure. The yellow crumbly pieces immediately vaped into a full melt with no sizzle. Clean, no solvent taste or smell. Even with a large draw, you get only distinct smooth flavor and smoke on exhale. Great pain relief, calming effect and markedly the best of both worlds; strong indica, dreamy body buzz complemented with sativa's lift and energy.

The Purple OG Kush:

I've got three words for you about Purple OG Kush—Use With Caution. I'm not just talking about for newbies either. I fell in love with this strain from the first whiff. It smells purple, dank, sweet, and musty—very strong. I smoked half a joint by myself and the effect was surprising and relieving. Very powerful euphoria that stimulated my appetite, encouraged me to relish in creative cravings, and sleep well—a gift when you live with insomnia and chronic pain. Ypsilanti's Herbal Solutions' Purple OG Kush is all about pain relief, appetite stimulation, and sleep. Immediately after smoking, my eyes, limbs, head, and focus got heavy; a great nighttime medication and delicious to boot. A signature strain, 70/30 indica dominant, with Purple Kush and Cali OG Kush Parents. This flower is ideal for anxiety, migraines, anorexia, appetite, spasms, and chronic pain.

Querkle:

When Purple Kush and Space Queen get together, they create heaven on Earth in the form of Querkle. The buds were cured well and are bright and multicolored. Light and dark green with purple hues covered this strain, with massive orange pistils that look like they were rolled right in sugar. Mmm, so yummy. Querkle, from Ann Arbor Wellness Collective in Ann Arbor, has a complex, pungent, and powerful musky grape smell. Very smooth on the inhale, no coughing even after a strong hit out of a water pipe. Despite being 80/20 indica-dominant flower, I got a rush of energy at first, accompanied by a lasting sweet taste. The effect starts right away in my chest, lifting up into my head and eyes. The energy rush doesn't last long though; this is a couch-lock strain that alleviates all kinds of horrible issues. Gave me hope, actually, and tons of pain relief. This strain is amazing for anxiety, PMS, muscle spasms, insomnia, and chronic pain.

Culture 2016. Gorilla Glu

Culture 2016. Gorilla Glu

Gorilla Glue #4

Popularly known for its very sticky, resin-coated buds, this potent strain (27,30 percent THC) is well-sought by patients, everywhere. The genetic profile for Gorilla Glue #4 is fascinating as it borrows traits from parents Chemsis, Sour Dubb, and Chocolate Diesel, (which has a uniquely complex genetic equation in itself). Although GG#4 is indica-dominant (75/25), it's quite uplifting medication, providing both body and cerebral focused relief to symptoms associated with arthritis, cancer, chronic pain, glaucoma, migraines, multiple sclerosis, nausea, and PMS. Aromatically, this strain has a bold chemy-fruit scent rounded out with a floral earthiness. If you're onto rosin-tech, it's likely you're going to want to get to squishing, as the stickiness of this glue will be too tempting to just roll up and ignite. It's been noted that a single press of an 11g nug had a 30 percent yield.

Culture 2014. Ghost OG Kush

Ghost OG

The notes say this is a "hybrid strain with mysterious origins," but smells like a classic Kush. Ghost OG also smells "cool" to me—like the temperature-and really spicy, but not pepper spicy. Distinct and unique, for sure, this little guy from Herbal Solutions in Ypsilanti has beautiful dark green leaves that are super frosty and ridiculously decked out in ripe trichomes. It smells of lemon after grinding; I also detected an earthy, citrus smell with a bit of faint, smelly cheese, but on the dry draw I can taste Kush for sure. Easy and earthy on the inhale. Spicy in the nostrils on the exhale with a sweet pine aftertaste. Amazing, very social effect. Within 10 minutes my lips are numb and creative juices are flowing.
